You will utilize your creativity, space planning and conceptual skills to develop innovative office designs that accentuate our Client’s image. You will also have to consider Muraya’s environmental friendly aspect and incorporate this into the design.

We are looking for an interior designer or architect that has the following qualifications:

  • 3 + years experience in office interior design projects.
  • Enjoy working on multiple projects, sometimes within the same timeline.
  • Ability to work independently in certain parts of the projects.
  • Good team player with organizational skills.
  • Good technical knowledge and design interest.
  • Knowledge of a number of software including AutoCAD, Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Good oral and writing communication skill in both English and Chinese is a plus.

You will represent the interest of the client providing independent professional advice and guidance on site during the contract along with liaising with a range of other professionals involved in the project. Ensuring that quality standard and all health and safety checks are strictly followed, something that is fundamental for Muraya DCE. Keeping track of progress and ensuring that the project is on time and on budget.


  • Graduate of a four-year degree program in construction management or construction science. Graduate engineers or architects will also be considered.
  • Five years or more of experience assisting or supervising construction projects of increasing complexity.
  • Ability to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities and groups of people who need to cooperate to achieve maximum efficiency.
  • A good oral and written communication skill in both English and Chinese is a plus.

Our Interior Designers are currently looking for Assistants to work closely with. You will assist our Designers with every aspect of a project that may require more than two hands. The assistant can take on many of the smaller tasks and free the designer to handle the important aspects of a project.


• Have a degree or are currently enrolled in an Interior Design or Architecture program.
• Driven to create beautiful environments that represent the client’s requirements.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, AutoCAD, Photoshop and other 3D modeling programs as 3D Max or Rhino.
• Experience in using floor and space planning applications.
• Knowledgeable of general principles of office decor and design (i.e., furniture, carpet, draperies, and color schemes.)
• Excellent communication skills, customer service skills, and organizational skills.
• Ability to effectively manage time and conflicting priorities.
• Ability to work effectively and productively with others as a team creating great working relationships.
• It is a plus if you have knowledge of vendors, and the ability to establish good relationships with local vendors of products and services related to interior design, ranging from electricians to paint stores.
